The possibilities are endless and include but are not limited to upscale coffee bars, dessert stations, themed meals, presentation cooking, chocolate fountains, ice sculptures & exotic displays.

 

Additional Information

Staffing

Staffing is not included in any of the above packages.  The charges are $16.00 per hour per banquet server. We recommend one server to every 25-30 guests for buffet style and 1 server to every 10-15 guests for sit-down service. Bartenders are $18.00 per hour and there should be 1 bartender to every 50 guests. Additional set-up staff may be required according to the type and complexity of venue.  There will be an 18% gratuity added to the food subtotal which will be divided among all service staff involved in the event. $75.00 fee for set-up only for your event.  This does not include staff.

Bar Service

Marina Cuisina does not possess a statewide caterer's license.  We can provide bartenders to serve alcohol provided by the client.  Arrangements must be made with the venue to ensure liability is covered.

Rentals

Rentals of our chafing dishes are included in the per person pricing and are provided on a first come first serve basis.  We have a limited number of chafing dishes and therefore may have to rent additional pieces.  This will be broken down in your proposal.  Any other equipment will be charged to the client.

We will not provide our chafing dishes or serving pieces unless the event is staffed by Marina Cuisina.  We will be happy to assist you in locating a party rental store that provides these items.

The items that are included in the per person pricing are basic items.  For example, the china is basic white or off-white, flatware is stainless steel, basic stemware & white or another available color napkins.  Upgrades are available such as gold or silver flatware, silver serving pieces, crystal stemware, gold-trimmed plates, or fountains at an additional charge.

Plate Fee

There will be a $1.50 per person cake plate fee. The exception to this is if the cake is provided by Just Desserts by Linda.

Deposits & Contracts

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking your event.  The remaining balance is due ten days prior to your event along with a final guest count.  All dates are considered tentative and will not be held without a deposit or signed contract.

Tastings

Tastings are available prior to your event.  The event must be 50 persons or more and up to three selections may be sampled.  Two people are invited to the tasting complimentary.  All other guests are subject to a charge.  The tasting may take place in our restaurant or at the reception site if it is allowed and prearranged.
